The Institute of Neurosciences, joint center of the Miguel Hernández (UMH) University of Elche and the Superior Council for Scientific Research (CSIC), has organized the seminar «Life synaptic vesicle: youth, adulthood and retirement.» LaUniversity researcher Medical Center Göttingen (Germany) Silvio Rizzoli give the conference, which will take place on Friday, March 6, at 12:30 pm in the Auditorium Building Ramón y Cajal Campus Sant Joan d ‘ Alacant UMH. The researcher Guillermina López coordinate this activity.
Rizzoli Silvio laboratory work to determine the mechanisms involved in synaptic vesicle function, through the use of a fundamental tool STED microscopy. Silvio Rizzoli is principal investigator of the group «STED Microscopy of Synaptic Function» in the European Neuroscience Institute Göttingen. He also is an EMBO YIP and received an ERC project CoG in 2014.
